Crash Alert: 2 killed in single-vehicle crash in Omaha
OMAHA, NE – Two people died in a single-vehicle accident at I-80 West and I Street last Thursday, 1011 Now reports.
According to their reporting, Antonio Tate, 42, was driving a sedan west on I-80 when he lost control of the vehicle. It crashed through a modular barrier, launched into the air, and struck an overhead sign positioned above an off-ramp.
Emergency responders pronounced Tate and his passenger dead at the scene. He has been identified as Leland Reams, 53.
Multiple lanes of the off-ramp were closed for several hours, as authorities investigated the crash and cleared it from the road.
