Crash alert: Driver runs off road in Stanton County rollover
STANTON COUNTY, NE – According to News Channel Nebraska, a driver was involved in a single-vehicle rollover crash on a road in Stanton County Monday afternoon.
Deputies with the county sheriff’s office responded to the scene on Old Highway 8 east of Stanton at about 4 p.m.
Investigators said a woman lost control of her Jeep while heading eastbound and ran off the road. The vehicle rolled into a ditch and also struck several small trees.
Fortunately the woman was not hurt and declined to be transported, the sheriff’s office said. She was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.
