Crash alert: Sections of Holdrege Street closed for road resurfacing
LINCOLN, NE – Drivers were advised of road work that shut down part of a street in Lincoln starting Thursday morning, according to KOLN.
The resurfacing project began at 8 a.m. and is part of the Holdrege Street Improvement Project. It has caused the closure of sections of Holdrege Street between North 48th and North 70th Streets.
The sections will be closed at various times from now until October 23. Detours have been set up for motorists as well as for one of the StarTran bus routes.
Officials said access to homes and businesses will be maintained when possible.
