Crash Alert: Collision backs up traffic on Platte River Bridge
ASHLAND, NE – A collision on the Platte River Bridge brought eastbound I-80 traffic to a standstill yesterday, reports KETV.
State troopers were on the scene by 11 a.m. They redirected traffic to the 426 interchange to prevent it from backing up further.

The wreck was cleared and lanes reopened shortly after noon, according to a tweet from the State Patrol.
It is not clear at this time whether anyone was injured in the initial crash.
