Crash alert: 1 dead, 2 injured in collision in Douglas County
VALLEY, NE – Emergency crews responded to the scene of a fatal crash in Douglas County late Tuesday night, the Omaha World-Herald reports.
Two vehicles collided in the vicinity of Nebraska Highway 36 and Reichmuth Road northwest of the town of Valley shortly before midnight.
One person died at the scene, according to first responders. The victim’s identity was not immediately released. Two other people were seriously injured and were transported to the Nebraska Medical Center.
Investigators are trying to determine the cause of the crash.
