Crash alert: 2 people critically hurt in collision at Omaha intersection
OMAHA, NE – Police and emergency crews responded to a crash in Omaha Sunday that sent two people to the hospital, reports the Omaha World-Herald.
Officials said two vehicles were involved in the collision at the intersection of 78th Street and Sorensen Parkway at about 1:05 p.m.
A 27-year-old man was thrown from his vehicle and was transported to Creighton University Medical Center-Bergan Mercy. Another person was taken to the Nebraska Medical Center. Both were reported to have suffered critical injuries. There were no details on the circumstances that led to the wreck.
The westbound lanes on Sorensen Parkway were shut down to traffic for the police investigation.
