Crash alert: Driver killed in rollover accident on I-80 near Overton
OVERTON, NE – A driver was killed when his vehicle crashed in Dawson County early Monday morning, the Nebraska State Patrol said.
According to a report in the North Platte Telegraph, 47-year-old Alfred Leon was exiting Interstate 80 at about 2:30 a.m. when he lost control near the town of Overton.
The vehicle rolled over and Leon, a North Platte resident, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The NSP and the Dawson County Sheriff’s Office were on the scene to investigate the wreck.
