Crash alert: Man killed in pickup truck crash in Red Willow County
MCCOOK, NE – The driver of a pickup truck was killed in an accident in Red Willow County on New Year’s Eve, the Kearney Hub reports.
The victim was identified as 57-year-old Cork E. Tyan of Curtis, Nebraska. The Nebraska State Patrol said he was driving a Dodge pickup truck and was unable to negotiate a curve on Fourth Street north of Indianola.
The pickup went off the road, rolled, and ejected Tyan. He was pronounced dead while being transported to McCook Community Hospital.
The NSP said Tyan was the 224th traffic fatality in the state in 2020.
