Crash alert: 20-year-old man critically injured in Lincoln car crash
LINCOLN, NE – A young man was critically injured in a car accident in Lincoln late Friday night, reports KOLN.
Lincoln Police, Lincoln Fire and Rescue and a deputy with the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office all responded to the scene after the incident on O Street was reported shortly before midnight.
A 20-year-old man was found inside the car that had crashed. He was rushed to a local hospital with injuries that were described as life-threatening.
Authorities are continuing to investigate the cause of the accident, and say preliminary indications are that speed was a contributing factor.
