Crash alert: 4 people killed when pickup collides with vehicle on Highway 75
NEBRASKA CITY, NE – Law enforcement officials said four people were killed in a collision involving two vehicles in Cass County Sunday night, reports WOWT.
The wreck occurred on Highway 75 near Nebraska City, not far from the Otoe County line. According to the Nebraska Highway Patrol, the driver of a pickup truck crossed over the center line and crashed into a vehicle that was traveling south.
Five people were in the other vehicle, all residents of Topeka, Kansas. Four of them were killed in the crash: a 21-year-old woman, a 22-year-old woman, and two children, ages 4 and 5.
A 20-year-old woman was seriously injured and transported to the hospital. The driver of the pickup truck sustained minor injuries.
