Crash alert: Pickup driver dies after losing control on I-80 in Omaha
OMAHA, NE – The driver of a pickup truck was killed after losing control of the vehicle in Omaha early Monday, police said.
According to KMTV, the victim was identified as 41-year-old Albert Aleman. Investigators determined that Aleman was driving a Ford F-250 at about 4 a.m. on Interstate 80 near 60th Street when the pickup slid across three lanes and went off the road. The vehicle went down an embankment and rolled several times, ending up on the outside shoulder of I-80. Aleman was pronounced dead at the scene.
The incident temporarily shut down two eastbound lanes on I-80 and the on-ramp to I-80 from northbound 60th St.
