Crash alert: Pickup truck driver dead after collision with semi on Highway 75
AUBURN, NE – One driver was killed and another was hospitalized after a pickup truck crashed into a semi-trailer in southern Nebraska last week, the Omaha World-Herald reports.
The deadly collision occurred on U.S. Highway 75 near Nebraska Highway 62 south of Auburn Thursday at 3:30 p.m.
According to the Richardson County Sheriff’s Office, 44-year-old Chad Murrish was driving a Dodge Ram pickup south when he crossed over the center line and slammed into a northbound semi.
Murrish, of Lovington, New Mexico, was pronounced dead at Nemaha County Hospital. The truck driver, a 34-year-old man from Sioux Falls, South Dakota, was hospitalized at Bryan Health. No details were immediately released on his condition.
