Crash alert: Driver killed when car goes off road, crashes near Grand Island
GRAND ISLAND, NE – Authorities say a car accident in Hall County last week left a driver dead, reports the Norfolk Daily News.
Deputies responded to the scene Thursday night just outside the Grand Island city limits in the area of East Capital Avenue and U.S. 30.
According to the Hall County Sheriff’s Office, 56-year-old Robert Dahlstrom of Grand Island was driving a Buick Park Avenue east at about 10:40 p.m. when he was unable to negotiate a curve and went off the road on Capital Avenue. Investigators said the car struck hay bales and two parked vehicles. Dahlstrom was pronounced dead at the scene.
