Crash alert: Woman hospitalized after crashing into Lancaster County creek
LANCASTER COUNTY, NE – Law enforcement authorities and rescue crews responded to the scene of a crash in Lancaster County, where a vehicle ended up in a creek.
KOLN reports the accident occurred Sunday morning on 54th Street between Bennet Road and Quarry Ledge Road. The Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office said a woman lost control of her vehicle while driving north on 54th Street at about 6:30 a.m. and crashed into a small creek.
Firefighters were able to extricate the woman from the vehicle and she was airlifted to an area hospital. Her injuries were not regarded as life-threatening.
