Crash alert: Woman killed when motorcycle goes off road in Lancaster County
LANCASTER COUNTY, NE – A 30-year-old woman was killed when her motorcycle crashed in Lancaster County over the weekend.
According to WOWT, the victim was identified as Kaylean Gentry of Firth. The accident occurred Sunday afternoon as she was driving her motorcycle north on Highway 77 near West Princeton Road shortly after 2 p.m. The Nebraska State Patrol determined that Gentry drifted off the road and hit a ditch, causing her motorcycle to flip. The vehicle ended up on top of her next to a tree.
Gentry was life-flighted to Bryan West Hospital in Lincoln, where she was pronounced dead of her injuries.
