Crash alert: 2 drivers injured when SUVs collide head-on in west Omaha

OMAHA, NE – Two drivers were critically injured when their vehicles collided in west Omaha early Saturday, according to WOWT.

Omaha Police said the two SUVs crashed head-on in the area of 144th Street and West Center Road at about 12:30 a.m.

The drivers were both transported to a local hospital, where officials said they were expected to survive.  Police are investigating the accident and say that alcohol may have been a contributing factor.
