Crash alert: Lancaster County rollover accident leaves 3 hospitalized
LINCOLN, NE – A single-vehicle accident in Lancaster County early Wednesday morning sent three people to the hospital, authorities said.
According to KOLN, deputies with the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene of the rollover crash in the area of Arbor Road and 27th Street near Lincoln at about 2 a.m. Investigators determined that the driver, 29-year-old Justin Bartels of Tecumseh, had gone through the intersection and driven through a field, then rolled into a ravine near Arbor Road.
Bartels and the two passengers in the vehicle were hospitalized with serious injuries.
Investigators are trying to determine whether speed or alcohol were contributing factors in the wreck.
