Crash alert: Lincoln high school student dies of injuries following crash
LINCOLN, NE – A Lincoln teenager has passed away following a two-vehicle crash on April 10th, according to WOWT and the Associated Press.
This is an update to a previous story.
18-year-old Kennedy Bowles, a student at Lincoln Southeast High School, was taken off life support last Wednesday after being hospitalized since the accident.
Police said she was a passenger in a Chrysler 200 that went through a stop sign in the area of Southwest 14th Street and Nebraska 33 and collided with a Chevy Silverado pickup truck, sending both vehicles into a ditch.
Police are continuing to investigate the crash that left three other people hospitalized.
