Crash alert: 1 person hospitalized after vehicles collide in Lincoln
LINCOLN, NE – One person was hospitalized following a two-vehicle crash at an intersection in Lincoln over the weekend, KOLN reports.
The accident happened in the vicinity of O Street and Lyncrest Drive on Saturday afternoon. Lincoln Police said the driver of a car headed east attempted to change lanes while traveling at a high rate of speed and crashed into a sport utility vehicle at about 2:50 p.m.
The car overturned and one person was ejected from the vehicle. That person sustained injuries that were not regarded as life-threatening, and was transported to an area hospital. No other injuries were reported in the crash.
