Crash alert: Motorcycle crash victim identified as 20-year-old Lincoln man
LINCOLN, NE – Police have released additional information regarding a deadly motorcycle accident in Lincoln on Sunday, reports the Lincoln Journal-Star.
This is an update to a previous story.
The man who died was identified as 20-year-old Garet Darnall of Lincoln. An investigation determined that Darnall was riding his motorcycle on Pine Lake Road at about 3:45 p.m. when he crashed into a Buick Enclave that was making a turn onto 38th Street.
Darnall was pronounced dead at the scene. The Enclave driver and three passengers were not hurt in the crash.
Police are continuing to investigate the accident and are trying to determine whether excessive speed was a contributing factor.
