Crash alert: Motorcyclist dies after colliding with SUV in south Lincoln
LINCOLN, NE – Police say a motorcyclist died after colliding with a sport utility vehicle in south Lincoln on Sunday afternoon.
According to the Lincoln Journal Star, the victim was a 20-year-old man who was riding his motorcycle west on Pine Lake Road. He crashed into an SUV that was making a turn onto 38th Street at about 3:45 p.m., police said.
The motorcycle rider was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not yet been released. No one else was hurt in the crash.
Authorities shut down Pine Lake Road for several hours for the investigation into the accident.
