Crash alert: Driver facing charges after crashing into semi in Lancaster County
LANCASTER COUNTY, NE – Authorities say a man was arrested after crashing into a truck in Lancaster County last week, KOLN reports.
The Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office said 39-year-old Gregory Snider was driving a Chevy Suburban SUV when he collided with the semi in the area of 148th Street and Old Cheney Road Wednesday at about 4:30 p.m.
Snider was injured in the accident and was taken to an area hospital. Investigators say they recovered nearly $19,000 cash that was scattered at the crash scene along with controlled substances found in Snider’s car. He is facing charges of possession of a controlled substance and was also cited for DUI third offense and no proof of insurance. Snider was taken to the Lancaster County Jail after being released from the hospital.
