Crash alert: Driver killed in rollover crash in Wayne County
CARROLL, NE – The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office said a man was killed when his vehicle was involved in a rollover crash last week.
According to investigators, Jacob Hurt was driving Thursday on 859th Road east of Carroll when he lost control and went into a ditch. The vehicle rolled and Hurt was ejected. He was pronounced dead at the scene after authorities arrived shortly before 5 p.m.
The county sheriff’s office was assisted at the scene by local firefighters and rescue crews. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
