Crash alert: Man and woman killed in rollover wreck on Highway 26
MITCHELL, NE – Authorities say a single-vehicle crash in Scotts Bluff County last week left two people dead, according to the North Platte Telegraph.
Investigators with the Nebraska State Patrol said the driver of a flatbed pickup truck lost control while heading west on Highway 26 near County Road 12 at about 3 p.m. Thursday.
The pickup rolled over and ended up in the eastbound lanes of the roadway. A man and a woman were ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene. Their identities were not released.
The NSP responded to the crash scene west of Mitchell along with the Scotts Bluff County Sheriff’s Office.
