Crash alert: Omaha man injured in personal watercraft collision at Lake McConaughy
LINCOLN, NE – Officials are investigating a personal watercraft accident on Lake McConaughy that left a man hospitalized.
KLKN reports the crash happened in the Martin Bay area on Monday at about 4 p.m. The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission said a jet ski driven by a 27-year-old man collided with a jet ski driven by a 24-year-old man. The 24-year-old fell off and was transported to shore where he received medical treatment. He was then taken to US Health University of Colorado Hospital, where his injuries were not considered life-threatening.
Both men involved in the collision are Omaha residents. So far no citations have been issued in the case as the NGPC continues its investigation.
