Crash alert: 5 hospitalized after cars collide nearly head-on in Sarpy County
SARPY COUNTY, NE – A collision in Sarpy County Tuesday left five people hospitalized, according to KETV.
Two cars were involved in the crash in the area of Highway 75 and Highway 370. The Sarpy County Sheriff’s Department said a driver lost control while heading south and crashed nearly head-on into a car going northbound.
The injured were transported to University of Nebraska Medical Center, where three of the victims were listed in critical condition and two others were in serious condition.
Northbound lanes on the JFK Freeway were shut down for several hours from Capehart Road to Highway 370 following the wreck.
