Crash alert: Driver dies following single-vehicle rollover crash in Sidney
SIDNEY, NE – Police said a driver died after his vehicle was involved in a rollover accident in Cheyenne County last week, according the Lincoln Journal-Star.
The victim was identified as 37-year-old Shane P. Marron of Sidney. Investigators said he was driving a Hyundai Sante Fe SUV on Old Post Road near Outfitter Way at high speed on Wednesday when the crash happened at about 5:30 a.m. The vehicle went off the roadway and re-entered it, and then spun and flipped over.
Marron, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected and was pronounced dead at the scene. No one else was in the vehicle.
