Crash alert: 66-year-old woman killed in collision at Lincoln intersection
LINCOLN, NE – Police identified the victim of a deadly two-car crash in Lincoln last week, KOLN reports.
The accident happened Thursday in the area of 40th Street and Highway 2 at about 11 a.m. Investigators said 66-year-old Asuncion Ramos was driving a Jeep Liberty when her vehicle was hit by a Honda Accord heading north on S 40th Street.
The Jeep ended up on its side and Ramos sustained fatal injuries. The other driver, a 40-year-old man, was hospitalized with injuries described as life-threatening.
Police are continuing to investigate the crash and so far no arrests have been announced.
