Crash alert: Driver arrested for DUI following Cass County rollover accident
CASS COUNTY, NE – Authorities said a suspected drunk driver was injured when his vehicle crashed in Cass County Tuesday evening.
The Fremont Tribune reports sheriff’s deputies and local rescue crews responded to the area of Bay Road and Davy Jones Drive in Buccaneer Bay at about 6:30 p.m.
They found that a driver, William Poppleton of Cedar Creek, had been involved in a rollover accident and sustained minor injuries.
Poppleton was arrested on a DUI charge after investigators determined that he had been impaired and was also driving too fast for the road conditions.
