Crash alert: Driver arrested in hit-and-run that injured motorcyclist in Omaha
OMAHA, NE – A driver was arrested following a crash that injured a motorcyclist in Omaha Sunday, KETV reports.
Omaha police said a man was riding a motorcycle near the intersection of 30th Street and Lake Street when he was hit by a sedan whose driver failed to yield while making a turn. The woman driving the car left the scene and returned about a half hour later, according to investigators. She was charged with leaving the scene of an injury crash and was taken to the Douglas County Correctional Center.
The motorcycle rider was hospitalized in serious condition.
