Crash alert: Woman dies of injuries sustained in Custer County accident
BROKEN BOW, NE – A woman passed away of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident earlier this month in Custer County, according to the North Platte Post.
The Custer County Sheriff’s Office said the victim was 60-year-old Rhonda Lynch of Ramona, California. Investigators said she was driving a 1994 Suburban southbound on US Highway 183 Sept. 13 when she lost control of the vehicle at about 10:42 p.m. The Suburban struck a guardrail and Lynch was ejected.
She died Sept. 17 at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. Authorities said Lynch was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
