Crash alert: 3 injured, 1 critically, after vehicles collide in south Lincoln
LINCOLN, NE – A collision in south Lincoln early Sunday morning left three people injured, one critically, according to KLKN.
Two vehicles were involved in the incident in the area of S. 27th Street and Old Cheney Road at about 2:30 a.m.
Investigators determined that a vehicle going east was rear-ended by another vehicle, causing it to go across the median and strike a pole. The second vehicle went off the roadway and rolled.
Three people were hospitalized after the crash, with one of them listed in critical condition.
Lincoln police are investigating the cause of the wreck, and said they believe that alcohol was a contributing factor.
