Crash alert: Pickup truck driver dies in rollover crash south of Cozad
COZAD, NE – A driver was killed in a rollover accident in Dawson County early Saturday morning, reports the Norfolk Daily News.
The accident took place on Nebraska 21 south of Cozad at about 3 a.m. The county sheriff’s office said 20-year-old Juan A. Baeza of Maywood was driving south in a Dodge Ram pickup truck when the vehicle went off the roadway and rolled several times.
Baeza was thrown from the pickup and was pronounced dead after being rushed to Cozad Community Hospital. He was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, investigators said.
