Crash alert: Citation issued to driver in connection with fatal Omaha motorcycle accident
OMAHA, NE – A driver involved in a fatal collision with a motorcycle in Omaha last month has been issued a citation, News Channel Nebraska reports.

Omaha Police say 60-year-old Mark Simmons was cited for misdemeanor motor vehicle homicide. The accident occurred Oct. 4 in the area of NW Radial Highway and Nicholas Street.
According to investigators, Simmons was driving a Toyota Tundra east on Nicholas Street when he stopped at a stop sign, then proceeded into the intersection. The Tundra collided with a Harley Davidson motorcycle driven by 34-year-old Pedro Flores of Omaha. Flores was pronounced dead at the scene. Simmons was not injured.
KETV reports Simmons is a bus driver for the Omaha Public Schools district.t.
