Crash alert: Driver dies after single-vehicle rollover crash in Pierce County
PIERCE COUNTY, NE – Authorities responded to the scene of a deadly single-vehicle accident in Pierce County Friday morning, according to News Channel Nebraska.
The victim, identified as 50-year-old Deanna K. Teidtke, was driving a Jeep in the area of 850th Road and 553rd Avenue when the accident occurred at about 9 a.m.
The Pierce County Sheriff’s Office said Teidtke drove the vehicle off the road where it went into a ditch, then came back onto the road. The vehicle rolled and ended up in a field.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators said she was not wearing a seat belt at the time. The sheriff’s office is continuing to look into the cause of the accident.
