Crash alert: NSP identifies driver killed in collision with semi near Fremont
FREMONT, NE – The Nebraska State Patrol has released additional information regarding a fatal collision north of Fremont last week, according to WOWT.

The man killed in the accident has now been identified by the NSP as 32-year-old Anthony Branam. Investigators said he was driving a van northbound on Highway 77 Wednesday afternoon when he rear-ended a commercial semi-truck at about 3:30 p.m. Branam was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the truck was not injured.
Highway 77 was shut down in the area for about three hours while state troopers responded to the scene.
