Crash alert: Scottsbluff man dies in multi-vehicle wreck on I-80
OGALLALA, NE – The Nebraska State Patrol is investigating a car accident in western Nebraska Monday evening that killed a 69-year-old driver.
According to News Channel Nebraska, the crash occurred on Interstate 80 east near Ogallala at about 6 p.m.
The NSP said Juan Torres of Scottsbluff was driving east on I-80 in a Chevrolet Impala when his vehicle entered the median, rolled, and struck two cars in the westbound lanes.
Torres was pronounced dead at the scene, while others involved in the accident were treated for minor injuries.
