Crash alert: Worker critically injured at industrial accident at Bellevue plant

BELLEVUE, NE – An industrial accident at a food manufacturing company in Sarpy County left a worker hospitalized, according to KETV.

The incident occurred Wednesday at Darling Ingredients near 1440 S 5th Street in Bellevue.  According to the Sarpy County Sheriff’s Office, an employee at the plant became pinned by a forklift.

The worker was transported to Nebraska Medicine, and was listed in critical condition.
