Crash alert: Omaha man identified as victim of crash with grain truck in Waterloo
WATERLOO, NE – A man killed in a collision in Waterloo last week has now been identified by the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, WOWT reports.
This is an update to a previous story.
The sheriff’s office said the victim was Benjamin Jones of Omaha. Investigators said Jones was driving an SUV on Blondo Street and collided with a grain truck at the intersection with 264th Street. The truck driver sustained minor injuries.
According to witnesses, the SUV did not stop before entering the intersection.
