Crash alert: 3 injured in collision between car and box truck on I-80 near south Kearney
KEARNEY, NE – The Nebraska State Patrol said three people were injured in a collision on Interstate 80 west in Buffalo County on Thursday night, reports KHGI.
According to the NSP, a box truck and a Toyota Camry were involved in the crash on Interstate 80 westbound near the south Kearney exit shortly after 5 p.m. The box truck reportedly flipped onto its side from the impact.
Both drivers and a passenger in the box truck went to CHI Health-Good Samaritan in Kearney, but none of their injuries were life-threatening.
I-80 west was shut down in the area before reopening about 90 minutes later. An investigation continues into the cause of the accident.
