Crash alert: Police identify 2 woman killed in Omaha car accident
OMAHA, NE – Police in Omaha said they have identified two women who were killed in a car accident last Thursday night.
This is an update to a previous story.
The crash happened at 192nd Street and F Street, where a Ford F-250 pickup truck collided with a Nissan Armada SUV.
Two women in the Nissan were pronounced dead at the scene, and now have been identified as 37-year-old Sara Zimmerman and 38-year-old Amanda Schook. Both were from Gretna, Nebraska. Zimmerman was eight months pregnant and was reportedly a Douglas County Corrections worker. The driver of the Ford, 21-year-old Zachary Paulison of Omaha, was hospitalized with back and chest fractures.
The crash remains under investigation.
