Crash alert: 3 injured in Omaha crash involving car and dump truck
OMAHA, NE – Police said three people were injured, two critically, after a collision in Omaha on Friday morning.
According to KETV, a car and a dump truck crashed in the area of 24th Street and Pratt Street at about 10:30 a.m. Two passengers in the car, a man and a woman, were hospitalized and were reported to be in critical condition. The man driving the car suffered serious injuries. All were extricated from the vehicle through use of the jaws of life.
The dump truck driver was not injured. Police investigating the crash said there were indications that the driver of the truck had gone through a stop sign and struck the car.
