Crash alert: Lincoln man killed when car collides with tractor-trailer on Highway 34
SEWARD COUNTY, NE – A car and a tractor-trailer were involved in a fatal head-on collision Tuesday morning in Seward County, authorities said.
According to KOLN, deputies from the Seward County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene on Highway 34 near 210th Road at about 7:50 a.m.
Investigators said a man was driving a Subaru Impreza west on Highway 34 when he crossed over the center line into the eastbound lane. The car then collided with an eastbound tractor-trailer.
The Subaru driver, 29-year-old Beau Connely of Lincoln, was pronounced dead at the scene. No other injuries were reported.
The Seward County Sheriff’s Office and Nebraska State Patrol are investigating the cause of the wreck.
