Crash alert: Motorcycle and pickup truck involved in fatal collision in McCook
MCCOOK, NE – A motorcycle rider died after a crash with a pickup truck in McCook last week, KLKN reported.
Police said 28-year-old Eugene Bailey was driving a Harley Davidson motorcycle west on B Street Wednesday evening at about 9:30 p.m. when he crashed into an eastbound Ford F-150 making a turn onto Highway 83.
Bailey was pronounced dead after being transported to McCook Community Hospital. The driver of the Ford, 52-year-old Solio Rodriguez, was taken to the same hospital but no information was released on his condition.
The McCook Police Department is investigating the accident with assistance from the Nebraska State Patrol.
