Crash Alert: 2 killed in 2-vehicle crash in Omaha
OMAHA, NE – According to WOWT6 News, a two-vehicle crash in Omaha left two people dead on Sunday night.
Authorities say the crash took place around 11:00 p.m. on Sunday night near the intersection of 132nd Street and West Center Road. 30-year-old Osvaldo Evangelista and 25-year-old Deborah Gustafson were both killed in the impact.
Police report that speed was a leading factor in the cause of the crash, as Evangelista was found to be driving a yellow Chevy Cobalt at high speeds when her vehicle struck Gustafosn’s Volkswagon.
Both drivers involved were pronounced dead on the scene. Police continue to investigate.
