Crash Alert: 1 person killed in accident on Highway 11 near Ord
ORD, NE – According to the Omaha World-Herald, a 20-year-old was killed in an accident on Highway 11 near Ord on Saturday.
Authorities with the Nebraska State Patrol say the accident took place around 4:00 p.m. on Saturday afternoon, just a couple miles south of Ord. The 20-year-old driver was traveling south on Highway 11 in a Dodge Caliber when he lost control of the vehicle, causing it to roll over several times.
First responders at the scene found that the driver was ejected from the vehicle in the impact, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
An investigation is ongoing.
