Crash Alert: 1 killed in crash on NE-50 in Sarpy County

SARPY COUNTY, NE – According to WOWT News, a 28-year-old man was killed in an accident that took place on State Highway 50 on Wednesday.

Authorities say the crash took place shortly after 11:15 a.m. near the intersection of Highway 50 and Capehart Road. A 28-year-old driver of a Ford F150 pickup truck was traveling north when his vehicle struck a 42-year-old driver of a Chevrolet Express.

The driver of the Ford was killed in the impact and pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Chevrolet Express van sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

An investigation is ongoing.
