Crash Alert: Pedestrian struck, seriously injured by car in Omaha

OMAHA, NE – According to KETV News, a pedestrian was seriously injured after being struck by a car in Omaha on Tuesday night.

The accident took place around 8:00 p.m. at the intersection of 45th Street and Leavenworth Street when the pedestrian was crossing the road and hit by a driver.

The pedestrian was seriously injured in the impact and was transported to Nebraska Medicine in critical condition for treatment. The driver was given a citation for failure to yield and not carrying an operator’s license.

An investigation is ongoing.
