Crash Alert: 1 killed in accident involving motorcycle in Omaha
OMAHA, NE – According to KETV 7 News, one person was killed in an accident involving a motorcycle in Omaha on Thursday afternoon.
Authorities say the crash took place shortly before 3:30 p.m. near the intersection of 132nd Street and Shirley Street. 24-year-old motorcyclist, Thomas Flesher, was traveling southbound near the intersection when he was struck by a car.
Flesher sustained serious injuries in the impact and was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment, where he later died.
No other details have been released at this time. An investigation is currently ongoing.
