Crash Alert: Lincoln couple killed in crash involving tractor-trailer in Morrill County
MORRILL COUNTY, NE – According to KETV News, a couple from Lincoln were killed in a crash involving a tractor-trailer in Morrill County on Tuesday.
Authorities say the two-vehicle accident took place around 1:00 p.m. on Link 62A. Two people, Joyce and William Glaesemann, were traveling westbound on Link 62A in a Subaru Forester when they passed a westbound tractor-trailer. The driver of the Subaru attempted to make a left turn, and the tractor-trailer failed to stop and struck the back end of the Subaru.
The Glaesemanns were both killed in the impact and pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the tractor-trailer sustained minor injuries in the crash and was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
